Full Bathroom Refurbishment

Mr. Mrs Humphries contacted us after being recommended by a friend of theirs, as they were looking for a refurbishment company to fit them a new bathroom.

After our first initial meeting we produced a full itemised quotation then arranged another meeting so as to go through the quote and to agree exactly what we were going to do for them and how long it would take so as they could make temporary arrangement in regards to washing facilities.

We started with disconnecting all the hot and cold water feeds including the electric shower, once that was completed we could then safely remove the existing bathroom suite, including all tiles and plaster from the walls taking them back to brick as the existing plaster was rotten and needed removing.

After all pipe work alterations and first fix electrical work had been done we then dabbed a moisture resistant plaster board to the existing walls. As Mr & Mrs Humphries had chosen to have led spotlights in the ceiling, a new suspended ceiling had to be formed from 50mm x 50mm timbers and plaster board. the ceiling was then plastered, the existing floor boards were screwed down and over boarded ready for tiling.

Once the bathroom was tiled we hand build a new cupboard, the shower and shower tray was fitted along with the new whb,and toilet. Finally the cupboard, door /frame and ceiling were decorated.
